Fred B Kotler

Fred retired from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations where he served as a program director, trainer and policy analyst. He wrote several reports and training manuals related to labor law, infrastructure, and organizing. Prior to his work at Cornell, Fred was Director, Labor Education Program, Northern Michigan University. Fred worked as a community organizer and union staff representative and taught for many years at the National Labor College and for the Building Trades Academy. A Chicago native, Fred attended Harvard University, the University of California, Berkeley, and received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He lives in Marquette, Michigan.
